Organizational Needs Assessment

For this assignment, we had to formulate the main portion of an organizational needs assessment. The organization that I chose for this assignment was a hypothetical lighting company called Lighting Limited. The purpose of this assignment was to identify any learning opportunities that existed targeted to a specific group of employees based upon their knowledge, skills, and abilities and aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.

The group that I chose to focus on was warehouse employees. For this portion, I prepared ten behavioral indicators questions to ask the employees to identify their most significant learning opportunities concerning a key organizational strategic goal. I then formatted these questions into a two-response column self-assessment. I also created an impact map to illustrate the employees’ level of commitment to their organization’s strategic priorities, what tasks they must complete, and the KSA’s they will need to achieve success in the desired future state.
