Reducing Carbon Footprint
All Design Transparent
This project was a group collaboration. The purpose of this project was to create an E-learning website that presented learning materials for a learning problem: The lack of awareness about personal carbon footprints, and how they can be cut down in order to help the environment.
Our intended audience was Wayne State students and staff, living on and off campus, ages 17 and up.
The project focuses on reducing waste and alternatives to personal vehicles. Background information is provided in supplemental materials so that learners have time to fully process and understand why they are taking the course. Extra ways to reduce carbon footprints are provided in supplemental materials so that learners can do more research outside of the website if they desire.
After completing our online course, students will be able to describe a carbon footprint, list one alternative to personal vehicles, list four ways to reduce waste, and list four ways to reduce their carbon footprint.
